EDWARD DUV HODGES, who lives ¼ mile south of Ratliff City (Carter Co.) died Oct. 22, 1940 and was born Feb. 24, 1870 in McNairy Co., Tennessee, came from Texas to Indian Territory 45 years and ago and lived at his present home for 32 years. He was a carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. B. E. HODGES, three children, Mrs. M. P. WIDEMUM, Mrs. A. M. MCNEAL and FRED HODGES of Alma; brothers E. A. HODGES of Chillicothe, Texas, WILL HODGES of San Angelo, Texas, and WILL HODGES of McAlister, Okla.; sisters, Mrs. W. H. REYNOLDS of Pauls Valley, Okla,, Mrs. TOMMIE WESTMORELAND of McAlester; 13 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday at the Alma cemetery conducted by Rev. WARD, new pastor of the Alma Methodist Church.
