Delivered in the presence of Samuel Land, JOHN WHITE, and Richard Blackleach (Blackledge ?).
Second Deed of New Castle County, Delaware - February 26, 1688/9 - Ibid.
Derrick Vandenburg, late of New York to George Hogg, etc. etc. "ground late of Justa Anderson but now of JOHN WHITE, Front Street and the market place".... etc., etc.
It's strange that the reason for the research was to establish the Hoge-Hollingsworth connection and it ended up with some of that and much more. It also ended up with wonderful information about Catherine Hogg found in the 1830 census of Cecil County, Maryland.
