I'm trying to research African American Hollimon's from Mississippi.
I have a John Wesley Hollimon that was married to a Caroline (unknown last name). Together they had a son named John Frank Hollimon (went by Frank) born March 22, 1907 & died March 1972. We believe that other children of John Wesley Hollimon & Caroline were Booker Hollimon, William Hollimon, Shelby Hollimon, a sister with an "M" name among others.
Johnny Frank Hollimon (aka Frank Hollimon) married Katie Joe Lincoln (daughter of King Lincoln Sr. & Dellie Moore). Katie was born February 5, 1920 and is currently living in Arkansas. Katie had 2 children named Chester Miller & Levertis Jackson. Together Frank & Katie Hollimon had 7 children as follows:
1. Sammie Jean Hollimon 2. Frank James Hollimon 3. John Lee Hollimon 4. Rozenia Hollimon (Buchannon) 5. Charlene Hollimon (Taylor) - deceased 6. Joe Julius Hollimon 7. Marilyn Marie Hollimon (Martin-Jones)
Joe Julius Hollimon was born Nov. 5th 1952 and married Glenda Faye Hollimon (Kirkwood) born July 6, 1953.
Any information on Mississippi Hollimon's either of the African American descent or caucasian would be much appreciated.
Other spellings of "Hollimon" are: Holloman, Hollomon, Holliman, Hollimon, Holiman, Holoman, Holeman, Holomon, Hollemon, Holleman, Hollyman, Hollowman, Hollamon, Hollaman
