I thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth.I recently stumbled across a website put out by Earl Jones (www.earljones.net), a distant cousin. In it, he mentions that Zebulon Hollingsworth, son of Stephen H. & Anne Robinson, born in 1722, was a Revolutionary War soldier.I too wondered what the likelihood is that a man in his fifties served.I did a little more looking, and here's what I found. In HeritageQuest, they have a section on the Revolutionary War.Now I realize that their listing is probably less than all-inclusive.But when I did a search on Hollingsworth, there was only one Zebulon that showed up.He fits into the family this way:The Zebulon that was born in 1722 had a brother, Henry, born in 1718.Two of his sons were Henry, born in 1757, and Zebulon, born in 1761.These two brothers served in the war. Each mentions the other in their applications for pensions.
