Bill, Wow you work fast!!Thank you so much for the information!
It would be great if you could check for the marriage record for Willfred (Wilfred) D. Holtzman and Rose. It appears that they were married between 1925-1930 quite possibly in Lucas county, Ohio.
Mostly though, I would love to know if Willfred (Wilfred) & Rose had any children, it is thought that they had a least two or more. I would think that the children would have been born in Toledo between the years 1928-abt 1950.
The information that you sent certainly does suggest that Willfred died about 1951 and yet he does not appear on the Ohio death index. Do you have a suggestion as to where his death information might be found?
I should mention that Willfred was an architect and worked on various projects for the Catholic church in the Toledo area i.e. 1949-1950 the Duns Scotus Library for the Sisters of St. Francis in Sylvania and in 1938 added the caps to the towers of the Immaculate Conception church in Toledo.Family lore also indicates that he and Rose were active members of the Catholic church. With this in mind perhaps he & Rose were buried in a Catholic cemetery. Is there a cemetery index that could be checked? Or better yet, the records of a Catholic church near the Hempstead Drive property?
I'm sorry for asking for so much. Please know that I will be grateful for any information that you are able to provide!
In appreciation,
Susanne Brown
