On my recent visit to the UK my brother, Richard, told me the following Boyce Simons (Simmons?), born 1724, had a daughter, no name given, who married a Mr Sharp. They then had a daughter, Priscilla, who married John Hopgood in 1784. This may explain wher we have the names Boyce Simmons as Christian names in our forebears. I have not checked this information, but he claims to have got it from soemone in Australia. Does that help the search?
