Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Hort Niciu, aged 18 years, wife of George Niciu were held on Saturday p. m. from Sanborn funeral home, Camden. Mrs. Niciu's death occurred on Feb. 27th at Syracuse Memorial hospital from burns received on Dec. 13, 1946 in the George Colvin lumber camp fire. She is survived by her parents, two brothers, George Hort of Elmira and William Hort of Syracuse; one sister, Nancy Hort of Osceola and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Colvin of Osceola. ____________________

Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn Hort Niciu, wife of George Niciu of Boylston, former resident of Oswego and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hort of Clark street, who died Thursday in Memorial Hospital, Syracuse, was held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Sanborn & Son funeral home, Camden, with Rev. W. A. Braithwaite, rector of Trinity Episcopal church, officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Lawn cemetery, Parish. Attending the funeral from Oswego were Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hort, Mr. and Mrs. Arby L. Hort and Mrs. Henry Coombs.
Mrs. Niciu was severely burned Dec. 13 when the lumber camp, which she and her husband were occupying at Boylston, was destroyed by fire. ___________________
