Hi Tom, the Levi I am looking for was on the 1850 Harlan Census, head of household with Sara E., no children. This Levi was born 1826 and died 1914, no parents listed on this death certificate. He married Sarah Eliz. Brock who died in 1911, parents are listed on her death cert. James Brock and Betsey Howard. The informant for both is Hardin Peters, married to Mary Jane Hoskins, dau of Levi and Eliz.I am trying to find the parents of Levi which he may not have known himself if they died young.I am researching this family for my 87 year old neighbor who is the grandson of Palestine T Hoskins(called PT) who is the son of Levi and Eliz.PT came to Butler Co., OH around 1900 after marrying in Jackson Co., KY, farmed for a short time and ended up working in the paper mill in Middletown, OH. PT's dates are 1866 to 1955. He died in Middletown. I have researched for 25 years and this group sure has been a challenge.I have looked at the KYkinfolk site, but it has Levi as a son of Josiah...if that is the case then Levi was enumerated twice in 1850 (that can happen), but his wife is not listed with her father James Brock,Also, the name Levi and Hiram pops up a lot with these groups.I know that Levi is not a son of Hiram and Eliz. Fultz which I had wondered about. (Levi did name a son Hiram.) They marr'd about 1830 according to their census in 1830 (no children, just them)I still need to check the 1860 census to see how many Levis are listed...thanks Paula
