I am in the process of researching my husband's ancestry, and his gggg grandfather is Thomas Howse b. 1788 married to Mary Churcley (b.1787).Thomas worked land for the Cartwright estate in the Aynho, Northamptonshire area.Thomas and Mary emigrated to Canada in 1832.
Thomas was the son of John (b.1742; d.1820) and Mary (b.1754;d.1818)HOWES.Thomas and Mary had ten children - some spelled the name HOWES,while others spelled the name HOWSE.Their children include the following:

John Howes b. 1781 married Mary
William b.1783; d.1827 married Sarah
Henry b.1786; d.1842 married Anne
