Findlay Woman Succumbs to Heart Disease Tuesday Morning ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mrs. Augusta M. Krout, 82, wife of Floyd E. Krout, 338 East Lincoln street, died at 7:30 o'clock in her residence of a heart attack. She had a cerebral hemorrhage nine years ago from which she never fully recovered.
She was born Aug. 31, 1863, in Amanda township, a daughter of James M. and Mary (Morehart)Van Horn. On Oct. 24, 1888, she was married to Floyd E. Krout who survives.
Also surviving are two children, Mrs. George Crawford, 2732 Albion street, Toledo, and Warren R. Krout, route 1, Jackson township.
Preceding her in death were the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. George Russell, Mrs. Frank Wise, Mrs. S. R. Van Sant, Mrs. Ben Hoy, Dr. W. S. Van Horn, Dr. R. W. Van Horn, Iro Van Horn, Fremont Van Horn and Lincoln Van Horn.
She had been a member of the Church of Christ since she was 19 years of age.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Russell E. Herman chapel. Rev. W. E. Bradley, pastor of the First Lutheran church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery, Mt. Blanchard.
The body was taken to the Russell E. Herman funeral home and will be at the residence after 10 o'clock this morning. It will be taken back to the funeral home Thursday noon for services in the afternoon.
