Jean-Paul Hubert 4/13/12
Jean-Paul,
Thank you so much for all this info.
I do not have any info on Lucien and Delias marriage.
Nor, do I have any info on how/when/where he died.
I am assuming he died in Cohoes NY area somewhere between 1896 (dau. Loretta born) and 1900 (Delia listed as widow in census)
I see Lucien in other censuses (before he married Delia)
1861 St.-Jean, Canada East
Hebert, Francois, 42
Marie Louise Breau, 39,
Emilie, 19
Delphinne, 16
Verginie, 14
Onesimme, 12
Edesse, 10
Noe, 4
Lucien, 1
1870 Cohoes NY
Hebert, Frank, 50
Melie, 47
Verginie,22
Edert, 20
Noel,12
Lucien,10
Baptiste,8
and, Granger, Roselle, 20
all b. Canada.
Frank is a carpenter
Virginie and Roselle work in the cotton mill.
1880, Cohoes NY:
Lubar(?), Marie, 59,
, Loucine, 20, son, works at cotton mill
, John,17, son, works at cotton mill
all born in Canada.
(* according to the 1880 census, Delia Bovet, 14, was also working at the cotton mill at this time)
As the 1890 census burned there is always a 20 yr lasp in which I think many questions could have been answered but (sigh)
And by 1900, Delia is a widow with 7 children.
Other than Lucien and Delia being named as parents in St Josephs marriage records when 3 of their children married (Rose, Loretta & John) I have no other info on them.
I also have no info on any of their siblings.
Thank you again for so much help.
It is really appreciated.
Colleen
