Beverly After your last email I went back and checked about Martha Blackwoood and I was wrong. You are correct it was Martha A Warren (born about 1836 in Maine. Martha's parents were Elizabeth Watts (born about 1797 in Maine) and Frost Warren April 29, 1799 in Wolfborough, Strafford, NH. Elizabeth and Frost Warren had 9 children. Frost Warren was the son fo Rhoda Wiggin (born unknown; died Aug. 5, 1806 in Wakefield, NH)and John Warren (born before Nov. 3, 1762 in Portsmouth, Rockingham, NH; died Oct. 16, 1848 in Carroll, NH). Rhoda and John had 10 children in New Hampshire. John Warren was the son of Mary Hodgdon (born 1732 in Portsmouth, Rockingham, NH; died1846 in Lebanon, York, Me) and George Warren (born 1739 in Portsmouth, Rockingham, NH; died July 3, 1792 in Lebanon, York, Me). Mary and George had six children. Mary Hodgdon was the daughter of unknown and John Hogdon. This information comes from May V. Tallman's Genealogy. How I got Martha Blackwood is beyond me and a review emphasised that premise. Martha Blackwood is a relative anyway and I know she was raised in Pembroke, Maine Usually June Ferguson sources her work good. When I spot amistake I inform her of it and provide my proof. Nobody, indluding me, is infallible although we tend to think we are.
