Eunicy Lewis Power of Attorney to Jesse Lewis Know all men present That I Eunicy Lewis of the County of Newton and State of Missouri have made constituted and appointed and by these present do make consitut; and appoint Jesse Lewis of the county and state aforesaid my true and lawful attorney for me and in my name place and stead to sell and convey my portion of the real estate of David Huddleston decd.It being the undivided one eighth part of all the real estate of the said David Huddleston deceased;And to receive pay for the same and also to demand, ask, Sue for, and receive all moneys, nots [notes?]dues and other demands coming to me from the estate of the said David Huddleston deceased.It being the undivided one eight of the same from the administrators ofthe said estate of David Huddleston deceased, and to give good sufficient reciepts acquitances and discharge these for giving and granting unto my said attorney full power and authority to do and perform all and every act and thing whatever requisite and necessary to be done in and about the premises as fully to all and purposes.As I might or could do if personally present;Hereby notifying and confirming all that my said attorney shall lawfully do by virtue hereof.In witness of which I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 3th of February A. D. 1853
