I have seen information on Jugurtha/Tugurtha, who I assume is also "Jugga" Hugg, although I don't have "hardcopy" at hand right at the moment.
I believe Jugurtha came to Maryland (perhaps in the Baltimore area?) in the 17th century. I believe I've also seen evidence that she came there from Ireland.
Jugurtha may be part of a new Hugg line that I'm researching. For years my grandfather and then myself have researched the New Jersey Hugg Line (John Hugg from Ireland settled near Gloucester, NJ in the late 1600'), believing that our ancestors (in Delaware) were part of this line. However, I now have good evidence that the "Delaware Huggs" are descendants of another Hugg immigrant to Maryland at approximately the same time period as John Hugg.
You can find more about Jugurtha at the LDS site (www.familysearch.org, I believe) and more on the various Hugg lines at my site www.geocities.com/huggfamily
Please let me know (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you find more information about Jugurtha or other early Huggs.
