Joy:My name is Kathryn Cannon Standley, and I am the great-great granddaughter of Andrew Jackson Hunsucker.I am new both to the net and genealogy, but my aunt (now deceased) passed the following information on to me.Here is what my tree (through my grandmother Cannon) looks like: Andrew Jackson Hunsucker, b. March 1, 1817, died January 18, 1897..buried at Hopewell Baptist Church, Red Clay, Georgia. Andrew married Elizabeth (Betsy) Manly, who was born March 22, 1819..died July 25, 1900, buried at Hopewell Baptist Church, Red Clay, Georgia. Children of Andrew and Elizabeth: 1.Bales C. Hunsucker, b. abt. 1845, m. Saphrony Gilbert, January 2, 1870 2.James J. Hunsucker, b. abt. 1847 3.William D. Hunsucker, b. April 20, 1849, died June 14, 1925..m. Sallie Coffee 4.Nancy C. Hunsucker (my great grandmother, i.e. the mother of my grandmother), born December 9, 1850..m. Henry DeCalb Gilbert, December 24, 1869 5.Sarah E. Hunsucker, born abt. 1854 Source information on my aunt's group sheets indicates this information came from: 1850 & 1860 Census, Murray County, Georgia, and information contained in the Arthur Gilbert Bible (Arthur was my great-great grandfather - the father of Henry DeCalb Gilbert)....I am presently researching the Cannon/Gilbert lines, but I periodically check on my other family lines to see if I can find more information on my grandmother's line...Are you in anyway connected to the Gilberts...if so, I would be happy to work with you.Let me know if this helps even though it does not directly answer you question regarding Martha Barkley.
