Michael: I saw your recent posting and thought I would offer the following info:
1. There were two Husselbee's the emigrated through Ellis Island (John Husselbee-1903 and Joseph Husselbee-1908). As far as I know they stayed in the New York City area. I got this info from www.ellisislandrecords.org.
2. William Sutton Husselbee emigrated in 1886. His son Albert Husselbee had many children. Many of these children and grandchildren live(d) in the mid-west and west coast of the U.S.
3. Francis Job Husselbee emigrated to the U.S. in the early 1900's. Many of his children and grandchildren live(d)in the northeast U.S.(primarily in the Boston area). I am related to this branch of the U.S. Husselbee's. My father(Herbert w. Husselbee) was from Sommerville, Massachusetts. I have have a large family with brothers in New York, North Carolina and California. I live in Virginia. I'm sure there are many other Husselbee's in the U.S. I got much of my information from L. Paul Husselbee. He has done alot of research into the Husselbee name. Feel free to e-mail me at bhusselbee@erols.com if you want more information.
