I don't know which son of William Hutcheson led to your family but here's part of what David Gonzalez has posted:
WILLIAM6 HUTCHESON (CHARLES5 HUTCHERSON, CHARLES4 HUTCHESON, WILLIAM3, JOHN2, WILLIAM "CASWELL"1) was born 1790, and died 1839 in Rhea County. He married MARGARET SIGLER.
William Hutcheson and his brother Alfred bought 5,000 acres in Rhea county which stretched into Hamilton County. When he died in 1839 his estate included; 23 horses and mules, 49 cows, 120 hogs, and 23 sheep. There were also 42 books and a large ledger.
A William Hutcheson married a Peggy Sigler in 1809 in Grainger Co. Due to the number of brothers William had who married Sigler sisters, this would be a likely match. However, my notes list him as married to Margaret Sigler.
Children of WILLIAM HUTCHESON and MARGARET SIGLER are: i. PHILLIP SIGLER7 HUTCHESON, m. SARAH BROWN. ii. MATILDA N. HUTCHESON, m. JOHN CATHEY. iii. CHARLES HUTCHESON, m. MARGARET COULTER. iv. GEORGE WASHINGTON "WASH" HUTCHESON, m. EMILY S.TEMPLETON. v. JAMES LAFAYETTE HUTCHESON, m. RUTH COULTER. vi. OLIVER PERRY HUTCHESON, m. (1) EMILY M. PLEMMONS; m. (2) SARAH E. RANDLE. vii. FRANCES T.
