I haven't looked at this discussion in a long time, and I haven't done any HUTCHINSON research in almost 3 yrs. *But, I came across an old book on the history of Winchester, MA, and was looking at it over the weekend.Unfortunately, there is no Index of any kind, so I had to browse for the HUTCHINSON name.I found 2 references to a Mrs. Lucetta HUTCHINSON from 1850's in Winchester.I didn't remember that name, so I did a little, on-line research yesterday morning.Researchers on-line disagree about this couple, but her husband is Samuel HUTCHINSON.And at their 1817 marriage in West Cambridge, MA (now Arlington), she was Lucetta RUSSELL, b1799.
On-line it says she was the daughter of Amos RUSSELL and Betsey Hall Gray PIERCE.I think I saw the names of all their children on-line but forgot to print it out... I was just reading your posting from the past, and see you have Sarah HUTCHINSON marrying Josiah RUSSELL.And, Sarah is the daughter of John and Sarah. My ancestor is their son, Thomas M. HUTCHINSON.And, the above Samuel seems to be their youngest son. ...Is it possible that 2 of the HUTCHINSON siblings married 2, RUSSELL siblings?
Thomas and Betsey (HOMER) HUTCHINSON were of the HUTCHINSON Farm in Winchester(formerly South Woburn, MA).And son, Jacob, married Eliza CROSBY of Arlington (formerly West Cambridge, MA).Their ancestors include many of the early names in Arlington, including FROST, COOPER, CUTTER, HARRINGTON.
Yesterday I became curious whether Amos RUSSELL was directly related to Jason RUSSELL of the historic "Jason RUSSELL House" in Arlington.
That's all I'll say for now.
