James Allison ("Boss") Hutto in Texas
I'd like to hear from anyone who descended from Boss Hutto. His parents were James Turner Hutto and Louvisa Hutto, whose large family moved en masse from Mississippi to Texas in 1877. Boss was their fifth child, born in 1857 in Alabama. He married Isabell Jane Smart in 1879 and they had 8 children. Their first son was Homer Horace Hutto, who was my grandfather. Boss died in 1895 from typhoid fever and Isabell died a few months later. Their children were raised by relatives and neighbors, and over the years it appears that they scattered and lost touch with one another as well as with Boss's siblings and parents. I'd like to establish communication with my present-day relatives who descended from Boss and Isabell Hutto.
