Robert --

I am a volunteer with the Washington (Illinois) Historical Society. This year the person in charge of our bi-annual cemetery walk has decided to focus on eight Civil War soldiers, including John Henry Chaffer.Because John was single and had no descendants, this person, as of this morning has decided she would like to "expand" and include John's siblings and the Huxtable family since they are buried adjacent to each other.

My primary problem is trying to determine the relationship between the Sarah Huxtable who married Abraham Chaffer (condse wife) and William Huxtable, the father of Isabel Flora Chaffer who married Elijah George Chaffer, the latter a son of Abraham Chaffer.Do you have any information that can clarify these relationships?
