The two Jeremiah Lee markers are, I believe, both references to the same man. Ellen Rebecca Lee had five siblings (4 children were girls and 2 were boys.) Their parents came to Deer Creek Township from Pennsylvania in the 1840s. The parents died around 1850, leaving the children orphaned. The children were taken in by various families. The parents, Clempson Lee and wife Sarah King, are buried at the Hard Scrabble Cemetery 4 mi S.E. of Deer Creek.
My Grandmother jotted these note in her scrapbook:
"Grandmas Bros. & Sisters
Uncle Cam - Died 1913 - Father of Florence Eft, Bert & Bob - Gridley, Ill. "Jerry"1879 Grandma Ellen Rebecca " 1920 Uncle Ed - Colorado1915 Aunt Saide - Mother of Clyde Smith Apr 18, 1928; Roy; Shelby; Minnie; Nellie "Molly - MinneapolisNov 1, 1924"
I believe that Clyde Smith lived in the City of Washington.
