The Swick Book on page 3 lists Peter, baptized 18 Aug 1743, as a son of Johannes Swick and Barbara (Egie) Covert. Barbara is named as a daughter of Hans Teunnise Covert and Jannitze Brokaw.
Peter's baptism took place at the First Reformed Church of raritan, Somerville, New Jersey.
No wife is named for Peter, nor is there a separate write-up on Peter, other than his listing as a child of Johannes and Barbara.
Peter's brothers and sisters are named as follows: John, baptized 15 Apr 1730; Egie, bp 28 May 1732; Martin, bp 5 Jan 1734; Tunis, no bp date; and Jannetie, bp 28 Sep 1748.
All baptisims except John at the above named church. For John, his baptism was at the Harlengen Dutch Church. Records read as follows: Baptized April 15, 1730, Johannes, son of Johannes SWIK and Barbara COEVERS. Witnesses: Bergon Coevers and Jannetie Coevers. [Note from Swick Book authors: Bergon is probably her brother and Jannetie her mother.]
