Kris,
I am a descendent of Parker Ingols and I have done quite a bit of research on the family. It just so happens that I was searching the LDS website, www.familysearch.org,for information on Parker when I came across a birth record for a Tilpha Ingals b 30 Jan 1801 in Swanton Twp, Franklin, VT.This is listed as an extracted birth record and the father is listed as Parker Ingals and mother Mabel.Upon researching a little further I believe Mabel's maiden name is Baker.I believe this must be your ancestor Zilpha Ingals. The fact that she used the name Baker as a middle name for a son of hers as well as the use of Parker points to this conclusion.
Mabel and Parker did not have any more children. She died shortly after Zilpha's birth and Parker remarried a Mercy (Mary) Holmes.By her, they had Joseph Royal Ingals born 1810 and Rebecca Ingals born 1812 both born in Fairfax, Franklin, VT.Possibly another daughter Phebe as well. From census information Parker was alive in 1860 and living with a third wife Phebe, born in MA, living in the same area as his son Joseph R. Ingals in Hayfield, Crawford, PA.Before that he lived a short time in Wyoming Co., NY and Buffalo, according to earlier census information.
Parker's parents are:
Darius Ingalls and Loderma Lee of Pomfret, CT
I hope this helps.
Alyssa
