I'm hoping to locate descendants of the above couple, who probably married circa 1864-1866 and probably in the Poplar district of London/Middlesex, although no record has been found so far.
Sarah's maiden surname was HUTCHINS.Born in 1846 at Devizes, she was the daughter of James Hutchins and his wife Amelia nee WESTON, born 1819 at Southbroom St James (Devizes), who married in Devizes Wiltshire in 1842.
Sarah, her mother and half(?)-brother Charles Weston, moved to Poplar by 1861 when Charles married Lead CRIPPS.
Sarah and George INWARD had about twelve children, (based on the GRO BDMs and the 1881 and 1901 Census returns), moving to the West Ham district by the mid-1870s.
Sarah had a brother, James, born 1843, and a sister Mary Ann, born circa 1841/1842, both in Devizes.James was alive in 1881, with a daughter Elizabeth, born at Kingsdown circa 1864/1865.He was already a widower.
I have no details about George INWARD's parents, marriage, death or siblings, and would like to know more about him and his descendants.
I am the great-great-grand-daughter of Charles WESTON, via my maternal grandmother, Violet Helene WESTON, 1901-1978.
