William Wesley Reid and Lula Ann Isenhower Reid (my great-grandfather and grandmother) were married in 1895:I have not yet identified the county in Missouri where this union occurred.According to the "Directory of Randolph County, Arkansas 1910",they moved from Missouri to Randolph County AR in 1902, where William served as a Methodist minister. Their only son, Don, was born on April 12, 1909 near Calamine in Randolph County, AR.
Don married Mabel May Sharum and they had five sons:Don, Jerome, Johnny, Charles and Jerry.Don is my grandfather; Johnny is my father.
At some point after the divorce of William W. and Lula Ann (I haven't been able to find the date and location of the divorce),William left the area and moved west to Oklahoma and Kansas, where he served as a Methodist minister, remarried twice and had two additional children.
According to the 1930 Ripley County MO census,Don was living with Lula Ann Isenhower Tyler and her husband. He died on July 19, 1940 and is buried in Doniphan, Ripley County, MO.
