I am very confused by the way in which Jacob Izlar, Jr. was raised.
Jacob Isler and Zibilla Wolfe both died in the year 1772, leaving their two sons, Jacob Izlar and Tobias Eazler, orphans.Jacob was five years old at the time; Tobias was an infant. We know that Jacob Isler left a considerable estate at his death in December of 1772.Nearly all the prominent families in the Orangeburg area - indeed, in the Colony of South Carolina - owed his estate money. This included the Chevelettes, the Rowes, the Pendarvises, the Wolfes, the Giessendanners and even the Colonial Governor, William Bull. The sum owed amounted to hundreds of British Pounds and this does not include the land owned by Jacob.Yet, Jacob Izlar, Jr. was raised an orphan by a Mr. Pendarvis!
Can we discuss this?My email address is [email protected] would like to talk to you some time by phone if possible.
Best Regards,
Oscar Easler
