You indicated that you have a lot of Izzard history that you might be willing to share.By any chance does this history include Izzard relatives in the Middlesex/London County area of England?
My grandmother, Beatrice Nellie Mary Izzard b.4/8/1909 (Humbolt, Saskatewan), was the only child born to John William Izzard b.8/13/1873 (Middlesex County, England) and Emily Louise Moore b.1877 (unknown?). They were married on 9/13/1900 in London County, England (used to be part of Middlesex County).
They immigrated to Canada in 1905 when Saskatewan became a province and land was available to homestead. After my grandmother's mother died, they moved to the Detroit, Michigan area where John William owned and operated a general/grocery store. My grandmother married Ora Eugene Witt and bore two sons (Raymond and Gerald). Due to poor health, Ora moved his family to Golden, Colorado in the late 1930s.
John William Izzard is the son of John Edward Izzard b.1832 (Middlesex) and Mary Ann Briggs b.1831 (unknown??). They were married in Middlesex County on 11/14/1870. According to their marriage certificate, John Edward Izzard's father was James Izzard (born around 1805??).
If you have any information on this line, I would greatly appreciate a reply.
Thank you!
Gary
