Hello John, I am currently recording on Ancestry.co.uk the Jakeman family in NZ and have found loads of information but am struggling with the Electoral Registers.The details given are helpful but do not indicate the relationship between folk.I could easily associate children with the wrong parents and wonder if you are able to help in this respect.My history relates to Betsy Jakeman 1835-1915 and was one of my great grandmothers, she was the daughter of William Jakeman and Maria Bird.If you are able to access the Ancestry site you will find details on the Coster Family Tree for the ancesters you have mentioned, ie David Jakeman.
