Well....."could be" is about as firm an answer as I can give you!
Elizabeth, daughter of the Honorable John and Nancy Cook James, was born on 7 March 1802, on James Island in the Ohio River. She died in 1872.She married on 9 December 1818 - but here's the sticky wicket part.My records indicate that her husband's name was Hooper Hurst, born 1793, died 1848.They lived in Jackson County, Ohio, and later removed to Ross County, Ohio.
They had 10 children: 1).Julia Ann born 1819 2).Nancy born 1823 3).Levi James born 1825 4).John Rathburn born 1827 5).Denison born 1829 6).Samuel H. born 1831 7).William Fletcher born 1833 8).Louisa Hermione born 1838 9).Emily Lucretia born 1843 10). Elizabeth Cecelia born 1845
I have additional information on these children and some of their descendants if you determine we're on the same "twig" so to speak.I would be glad to share any information I may have that you would like.Julia Ann's name fits.....the dates are right in line with the information you have given me with the exception of an 1831 death date, but if we can reconcile the husband's name - the only thing I can think of is that Elizabeth remarried after Hooper died. But not if she died in 1831 - is there anything I can do to help you sort this out?Who did your Julia Ann marry - maybe we can back into this.
