Melissa, I also found my 1891 census for Kenyon,Glengarry County,Ontario.Larose is living with Alfred Lafave/Lefebvre and his wife MaryAnne.Larose is listed as widowed and 65 yrs.old, born in Quebec and both of her parents born in Quebec. Right beside Alfred is his brother Francis Lefebvre and Maggy(Margarite Victoria Janot), but Joseph Geniou is not living with them yet.I would suspect his wife,Josette, dies somewhere between 1891 and 1901. In 1861 in Finch,Stormont County,Ontario is a Francis Ganue/Janue and his wife Mary. Francis-45,cooper,born in Lower Canada/Quebec,R.C.,Mary-wife,45 yrs., born in L.C.,and children,Philip-18,Margaret-21,Lewise(female)-14,Philomene-12,Allison???-(female)10,Ufere???(male)20. All the children born from Lewise on were born in Upper Canada/Ontario.This would make this family's entry into Ontario from Quebec between 1843-1847. On the 1871 census for Lochiel,Glengarry County,Ontario is a Xavier Jauneau-47,born in quebec and his wife Vitavia,45, born in Quebec. They have 9 children living with tbem and it looks by the children's ages that they entered Ontario from Quebec somewhere between 1862-1866. Their children's names are Francis,Saraphi?(female0,Napoleon,Ogseal(f),Julia,Jadeveau(male),Archimeau?(f),Clement and Franis???(male). Oh guess what....I have LeBlanc's in my line too! I can't remember off hand but I think mine is a Pierre Charlebois married to an Elisabeth Leblanc.
