Glad to hear from you. Will respond probably tomorrow. In the meantime have one little problem. For me though and it creates a problem in this mystery.
William W. Perry is also shown in the household of Margaret Marie Shafer Jarboe in the 1850 census. I have an idea that he was a laborer for the Jarboe family and living there, perhaps part time. His Mother was also a former Jarboe and had two children by her husband William. That would indicate (1) that they certainly needed the extra money, (2) the step father-son relationship wasn't that hot and (3)the Jarboe's offered more family type relationships. As you can see, I imagine all sort of things that will never be proven.
I'm sure William Perry, father, had also had an earlier marriage to Elizabeth A. D. (maiden name unknown) at present) and they probably had children.(She is buried at Mt. Zion.) Whether William W. was the only child of William and Laura Ann,alias Loretta Ann Jarboe is fascinating but unproven.
The 1860 census, indicates that William W.Perry is married and living with his family in Liberty Election District #8 of Frederick County.
As to providing information to you. I do that at no charge - please. You all have been great with the information and assisted me. I am very grateful.Let me know the address, please.
If I can obtain the Eva Simmons papers and read what she wrote about Will Perry, it may allow us some conclusions. I do have quite a few papers regards William Perry and it will take meseveral days to put it together. My wife has a list of things to do, which take precedent. I' retired- she's not.
