For the love and affection I entertain for Robert Ivey Jarman and William James Jarman, the sons of Robert S. Jarman, I do hereby give, transfer, and convey unto them my property in Montgomery County, District 15, cattle. hogs, one bay horse colt, and household furniture.
I do give to Robert Ivey Jarman, the son of Robert S. Jarman, the following property: one yoke of oxen, one cow and calf and their increase, and one feather bed of furniture.
I do give to William James Jarman, the son of Robert S. Jarman, the following property: 15 head of hogs and increase, and one bay horse colt, one table, and one trunk.
To have and to hold the same to the said Robert Ivey Jarman and William James Jarman and their heirs forever. I covenant and agree for myself and heirs to warrent and defend the title to said property to said Robert Ivey Jarman and William James Jarman and their heirs against the lawful claims of all persons whatever, this the fifth day of September 1844, witness my hand and seal.
