Jeff, which line are you from ?I come from Swepson Jeffries and his second wife Issabella Lewis Goode.Their youngest son, Richard, who married Sarah Hammer is my 2nd great grandfather.He died around 1836 in Mecklenburg Co, VA.Sarah may have died at that time also.Their 2 sons, Samuel and Howell seems to have lived then with Richard's brother Charles and wife Jane.By 1850 they were all in Arkansas.Never have been able to find out what happened to Richard and Sarah although I have been to the court house in Boydton twice, plus ordered lots of microfilm.Kathy
