Francis "FRANK" Wilbur Jenkinson 1897-2004
Francis "FRANK" Wilbur Jenkinson was born Aug 6 1897 on the family farm just outside a small town called Orofino,Idaho,USA.
He served the USA in WW1,he was a hand logger,he was a friend to all,but Mother Nature was his favorite.
Frank married Blanche May Hendren in 1935. she predeased him
in 1975. They sadly had no children.
Frank did not go into a care home until he was 104,he felt that "there are those that need it more than me"
His parents were Josiah Jenkinson 1863-1948 and Gertrude Thornburg 1869-1904 who were married in May 1889 in New Burlington,Indiana.He was was born in Muncie and she was born in Selma,both places are Indiana.
They left Indiana by covered wagon,and headed west,settling in Orofino,Idaho.There were 4 known children born there: Frank 1897,(baby girl 1899),Edna 1900,and (baby boy 1904).
The mother and 2 babies buried on old farm.
