Melanie-Not my Jennings line but in looking at the "trees" on rootsweb, several list her father as Joshua Jennings who was originally from Goochland co., VA and then NC before moving to GA.Here is some data from one f the them: •Name: Joshua Jennings •Sex: M •Birth: ABT 1760 in Orange or Goochland County, Virginia •Death: 25 JAN 1814 in Oglethorpe County, Georgia •Note: On 18 Mar 1786, Joshua JINNINGS of North Carolina deeded his part of his father's land (100 1/2 acres) to Archelus JARATT of Goochland Co., VA. I am pretty sure that she was born in GA as Elijah was.Her is in Oglethorpe Co., GA in 1840 census in Capt. Hargroves District and so was Henry Farmer. In 1850 census Elijah was in Gwinnett Co., GA and it hsows his place of birth as GA.This woulld mean Joshua had moved from NC sometime between 1786 and 1797.
