Joseph R. Jodoin, 86, of Woonsocket, died Oct. 29 at Oakland Grove Health Care Center in Woonsocket.
He was the husband of Marie (Ritchot) Stewart-Jodoin; they had been married for 10 years. He also had been the husband of the late Doris (Lavalley) Jodoin. Born Feb. 10, 1920, in West Warwick, he was the son of the late Alfred and Eupheme (Marchessault) Jodoin. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He worked in security at Woonsocket City Hall, retiring in 1984. After his retirement, he lived in Florida from 1984-1995 when he moved back to Woonsocket. Besides his wife he leaves five sons, Robert Jodoin, Ronald Jodoin, Raymond Jodoin, Roger Jodoin and Richard Jodoin; a daughter, Suzanne Knowles; two stepsons, Robert Stewart and Paul Stewart; two stepdaughters, Laura Paquin and Helen Stewart; a sister, Marie Fisher; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. in the Columbarium at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.
