I looked at the parish birth/baptism records for Christoffer and he has the same father. Do you know who the mother was? She is mentioned in that record.
If you ever join the Genline site [http://www.genline.com], this page can be found at GID # 837.21.35900 . The GID number is a specific number for each set of pages on Genline.
A child named Kristoffer was born on 13 January 1845 and baptised on 14 January 1845 in Moheda parish, Kronoberg län (county) in Småland landskap (province). His parents were Erik Johansson and Kaisa Danielsdotter in Tideberg. Tideberg is listed as a gård = farm in Moheda parish, according to the Rosenberg CD. The Rosenberg CD was made from a book about Swedish place names written in the 1880s. It is only in Swedish.
" Tideberg i Kronobergs län. Gård i Moheda sn, Allbo hd, nära S. stambanan."
Baptism witnesses are also listed, so join Genline and check out this record and records before/after 1845.
There was a fantastic parish record called the husförhörslängd (or HFL for short). It is often translated as household examination record or clerical survey record. It was similar in format to a census but it was updated continually, instead of every ten years. It was also more detailed than a census. I just looked at one in Moheda parish for 1844-1850. This was the household at that time.
Erik Johansson, born 15/7 1803 in Moheda wife Kaisa Danielsdotter, born 14/1 1808 (probably in Moheda, but a dash was listed instead of a location)
s. Johannes, born 8/12 (i.e. 8 December)1827 in Moheda (He was crossed out. He moved to another page in the HFL. There is a note that he married 3? /5 1849 to the piga (maid or perhaps, in this case, unmarried woman) Elin Jonsdotter.)
d. Sara, born 20/12 1830 (probably in Moheda; there was a dash instead of a location. I wonder if the priest wrote dashes to mean ditto marks.). She was confirmed in 1846.
s. Carl, born 24?/8 1834, probably in Moheda. He was confirmed in 1850.
s. Anders, born 29?/4 1838, probably in Moheda.
s. Kristoffer, born 13/1 1845. He also has that dash as many of the others did, and we know from his birth record that he was born in Moheda.
Go backwards and forwards in the HFL and other parish records to see who else was in this family. The Swedish parish records are SUPERB and you should be able to find details and details and details and piles of printed out proof of your family's life in Sweden. You are very lucky to have Swedish ancestors. It is much easier to research in Swedish records than in the U.S. records.
I found this record on the Genline site. The location is GID # 837.10.76400 and remember that the Sweden board is where to ask questions about Swedes. If you can't read a particular record, ask for help. (Make sure you provide the GID number if you want others to look at a particular record.)
I hope the wife matches and that this is your family.
