Hi, I don't know if you're still interested since your message is quite old but here's what I have. My greatgrandmother was Frances Amanda Johncox. She was born in Quebec (i believe Shawville) Dec 6, 1884 (died in Ottawa April 28, 1964). Maybe your father was one of her siblings children. Her brothers were George Guy (b.July 7,1895 d.Aug 28,1962 m.Viola kids were Kenny, Dellamier and Lois), Stephen(b. Mar 3,1887 d.Mar 28,1983 Bullshead,Monroe,Rochester NY USA m.Elsie), James Dellamier(known as Del)( b. 1883 d.feb 4, 1921 in North Bay. I'm thinking this may be your grandfather). Her sisters were Eva May, and Eunice Ina Jane. There may be more we haven't found yet. Their parents were Frances Horner (b.apr 24,1861 d.Nov 20, 1941)and Stephen Frederick Johncox(b.Mar 30, 1858 d. jan 20, 1934). Stephen's siblings were Ellen(b. sept 3, 1843 d. June 15, 1892), George (b.1848), John (used Johncock)(b.1851), Lorenza(a girl) (b.1846), Matilda (b. 1852), Eliza Jane (b. Jan 16, 1856), Sarah Ann (b.Apr 17, 1860 d.1902), Caroline(or Carrie)(b. Apr.21,1861 d.1942 Saskatchewan), Edward Wilson (b.apr 21, 1865 d. Aug.15, 1893) and Bishop Alexander(b.Mar7,1868 d.Nov 26, 1942). They were either fromShawville as well or Allumette Island. I'm not really sure yet. Their parents were John Johncock(b.1814 d.1907 in Quebec m. in Bristol Qc in 1842/43) and Early Ann Winters (b.@1824 d.@ age 44 - don't quote me on this - I have to double check 1868?) John was born in Kent and Early Ann we believe was Irish. Neither was born in Canada. I should have more in a few days if you are interested. Hope this helped.
