I was in Laclede County, MO, searching for the grave of John J. Moser, who died in 1894. I found it in a pasture with 5 other graves. Four of the graves had toppled headstones and two had missing headstones. All were covered in high grass and probably unknown to the world. Two of the graves were JOHNSON:
Charles L. Johnson b 4 Oct 1844 d 24 Nov 1905 Co M 3rd Iowa Cav
J. H. Johnson Co M 3rd Iowa Cav
Charles L. Johnson married Sarah N. Paine, the daughter of Sarah Bronaugh Paine (whose grave is also in this group).
