Anthime Joncas - Daughter Minnie????
I have come across some information that is confusing and wanted to ask for some assistance from some of you Joncas listers.
Anthime Joncas was apparently called "Timothy" by his children here in the United States. However, I come across some the name Helen V. M. Doody who died 18 Jun 1957 in Lawrence, MA.My husband's grandmother, "Tootie" received a sum of money at that time due to her being the only direct relative at the time.I have not been able to figure out the relationship of Helen to Tootie. In doing some research I was able to determine that Helen was the daughter of John J. Doody and Minnie Junkins.Minnie and John were married 25 Nov 1884 in Lawrence, MA.Minnie's parents are listed as Timothy and Rebecca. She and her parents are listed as being born in Canada.Minnie Doody may have died in 1890 in Lawrence, MA but I was unable to view the record to see the details.Per the information on the Marriage record I have estimated Minnie to have been born about 1863.Does anyone know if Minnie may have been the child of Anthime Joncas and Rebecca Cadoret?Their children are listed in a message 49 of this board shown below.Minnie may be part of or a nickname for one of the children but I would like to verify before I assume that Minnie is one of the children.
Thank you,
Pat
