Greetings!I found this message after searching on the name "Lugnian".All things Polish are new to me, so I am confused.I have searched a bit, just today, trying to locate Lugnian on one of the historical maps on http://feefhs.org/http://feefhs.org/

I see it must be near/in Silesia as you say.The family I am searching for also came to Chicago, probably in 1882.Matt/Catherine "Moskuk" or Moscow. The first spelling is how the name is indexed in 1900 census; the latter is the spelling the family adopted. This isn't my immediate line, so the early history is unknown to me.I'm curious about other families in Chicago from Lugnian, and whether they located near each other. The Moscow family, in 1900, lived on W. Superior St.I noticed on the map of Silesia, here: http://feefhs.org/maps/gere/ge-siles.htmlhttp://feefhs.org/maps/gere/ge-siles.html, that there is a town called "Muskau" - just cooincidence?

Any help with the family or the area would be appreciated.
