Annie Marie Camerer was born in 1849. Her mother was an Erskine, her father was John Wesley Camerer. Annie married Samuel Grafton Reid. Samuel and Annie had a general store in Missouri and were the first to sell stamps which would have made him the first postmaster of Missouri. They also lived in Bluff City Kansas. Later they lived in Lacine Kansas where they had a nice little home. It was on a dirt road. Their kitchen was in the back and one bedroom in the front, another bedroom in the back. They had a dining area and a small living room right on the railroad tracks, the "house would roar" but you got used to it. They had crawdad fishing in the back and they had a horse. There was an old church nearby, 3-4 blocks away and the cemetary was right across from their house. Annie had really bad cancer on her nose and she died of it.
