Services Held Saturday for Albert Kamrath
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the TrinityLutheran Church at Welcome for Albert G. Kamrath, 69, who died Wednesday, June 11 at Tri-Mont hospital after suffering a series of strokes.He had been admitted to the hospital Friday, June 6.Family service was at 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
Mr. Kamrath was born August 23, 1888 in Elm Creek township, where he farmed all his life.He lived in Sherburn for six years and Welcome seven years, but managed the farm during these periods.
He was married June 25, 1919 at Pipestone to Hilda Ralfs, who survives , along with one son, Loren of Sherburn.Mrs. Amelia Bettin of Sherburn is a sister.Also surviving are four grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The Rev. August Draeger officiated the services.Mrs. Kenneth Schultz was organist, and Mrs. Ervin Zenk, soloist.Pallbearers were, Elmer Kempke, Chester Schafer, Otto Martens, L. M. Whitehead, Harvey Schafer, and Gordon Nordhausen.Interment was in Sherburn cemetery.
