Sorry that I cannot help you with that individual, but you may be interested in some additional information about the name. Kapalka is an unusual name in Poland. Only about 700 people use the family name there. My family came from the Town of Domaradize in the commune of Jutrosin and voivodeship of Leszno. Only 7 live there now. Most Kapalka's live in the Tarnow voivodeship in sounthern Poland. In Polish you must slash the L, much like Europeans do the number 7. It gives the L a sound more like W. If you have the name of the town, a letter to the local Priest may get you some results. They have great church records, unless destroyed in WW11. Local small churches have better sources. Just be sure to send a gift! Meaning of the name comes from the nickname Kapala by means of a diminutive-ka. Kapala is from the Polish word Kapac-to fall slowly, also small coins.
