Kappesser family in Syracuse NY

Looking for anyone else who is researching the Kappesser family that came from Germany to Syracuse NY.The family of Adam and Alizabeth Kappesser came from the Kaiserslautern area of Germany about 1853 and settled in Syracuse.Their children were my gr gr grandfather Phillip who served with the 20th NY in the CW, his brother Peter who served with the 149th NY, John, Henry, Katherina, and Elizabeth.Related families are:Fix, Schoeneck, Rifenstein, Casey, Matty, and many others....I would love to hear from anyone who is researching this family but would be just as happy to talk to anyone at all who is related to any Kappesser branch anywhere in the world.
