Hi,
I believe I have the people you mention in my family tree. Emil, August David, Gustav Daniel (David?) and Tida Eugenia are all siblings of my greatgrandmother (my father's mother's mother), and they all emigrated from Sweden to Chicago/Highwood. Their older brother Lars Johan Karlsson emigrated as well, but he seems to have gone to Boston. I have put my database at myheritage.com, and the family you're looking for can be found at http://www.myheritage.com/FP/individual.php?s=5539931&show=family&indID=1000429&sort=datehttp://www.myheritage.com/FP/individual.php?s=5539931&show=family&indID=1000429&sort=date
You mention that Emil Karlsson worked on the railroad? Interesting! My father, my grandfather (the husband of Emil Karlsson's niece) and my greatgrandfather have all been working at the Swedish railroad. Seems like working on the railroad has run in the family =)
