FOUND DEAD NEAR TRACKS. Conductor E. V. Katt Believed to Have Been Killed Accidentally.
Edward V. KATT, 47 years old, a Pennsylvania Railroad conductor, was found dead beside the tracks near Lanham, Md., early yesterday. The body was brought to Washington and taken to the District morgue. KATT lived at 2328 Guilford avenue, Baltimore, the police learned. It is thought that he was either knocked off the platform of his train or that he slipped and fell while passing from one car to another. Relatives in Baltimore have been notified. They are expected to arrive in Washington today.
