A quick Google around brings up a PDF of an old edition Debrett in Google books which gives a pedigree of the Kayes & confirms Anne as being daughter of John Flower of Whitwell.
Further Googling, apart from the register entry below confirms thath the Kayes certainly had interests in Slaithwaite including Slaithwaite Hall. They seem to have inherited both estates from the Tyasses.
More from the PR, both for 1590

Clearly Robert was at Woodsome in 1590
I'm not sure how they used the two properties, whether there were separate branches in the two locations or whether younger members of the Woodsome family were settled in Slaithwaite. If it was the former I suspect your Dorothy isn't the daughter of Robert & Anne but of a different Robert.I'm inclined to that view as Debrett only mentions the son of Robert & Anne and the marriage in Huddersfield agrees with the 1580 baptism and with residence in Slaithwaite were half the chapelry lies in Huddersfield parish.
In any event I don't recognise Carvill as a local name.I think you'll need to look elsewhere for them.
BTW, I know that people do tend to hang queries onto only vaguely related threads as you did.Nevertheless you might have had more luck starting a new thread with a relevant title such as "Kaye of Woodsome or Huddersfield and Carvill".That would have been immediately obvious to someone who has much greater knowledge of these branches of the Kayes than I do.
