According to Alfred Decker Keator's book "The Keator Family in America," Kermit Kenwood Keator was born 3 July 1903 in North Bennington, VT. He was a boiler maker in the Harmon shops of the New York Central Railroad. He married (5th January 1929 in Springfield, Ohio) Martha Eleanor Mitchell, who was born 5 October 1902 in Belle Center, Ohio.
They had one daughter, Phyllis Elaine Keator, born 23 August 1930, and died 30 May 1943 in Ossining, NY, at the age of 12. Hope this is helpful.
