Looking for information on Edward Kedge (c.1818-1908), and more specifically his wife Mary (c. 1821-1883). They were married at Mulbarton Church on 14 February 1841. The certificate states that Mary's surname was 'Pikerand'. Edward's father was Samuel Kedge, shoemaker. However, there is no information on Mary's family. Searches reveal no records of any Pikerand individuals in any census records country-wide. Have also tried varied spelling in case it is an error, but the writing on the copy certficate is quite clear. A possibility could be 'Pightling',as I saw a reference to a Mary Rightling married to an Edward Kedge. Census reords indicate she was born in Hethersett/Norwich. Any info gratefully received.
Edward's parents were Samuel and Hannah Kedge (nee Danniels/Daniels), both born around 1784/1781 in Mulbarton.
